Salvage Operation

The military is beginning to take steps to reduce its carbon footprint.  It contributes to the production of greenhouse gases, air pollution, and depletion of natural resources.

Many men and women who have served no longer have use for their equipment and uniforms, causing them to either donate them, reuse them, or dispose of them in the trash, causing additions to landfills.

This line of clothing aims to eliminate this third option by taking military supplies and materials that are no longer in use and turning them into wearable pieces.

This not only helps in the effort to reduce the carbon footprint of the military by eliminating materials from landfills, but also shows support for our troops by wearing a piece that was once in use.
